The MEYBO HSX Carbon frame is the most high-performance piece in the MEYBO lineup, capable of winning the biggest championships. With increased rigidity and cutting-edge technology, this new HSX Carbon frame is the epitome of excellence. Lightweight, responsive, stable, and rigid, it encompasses all the desired attributes in a single frame.

The HSX Carbon is the fastest frame in the Dutch brand's range. Its geometry has been specifically designed for championship and World Cup tracks, offering a perfect balance between maneuverability and stability at high speeds.

For the 2024 model, several important specifications should be considered. Regarding the braking system, this frame is only compatible with "Flat-mount" calipers. This means that the brake caliper is directly attached to the rear base of the frame. For optimal finishing, two fixing screws go through the rear base to hold the brake caliper in place. This configuration requires an internal hose routing within the frame. It is absolutely necessary to provide a "J-KIT" or "C-JET" disc brake kit. With a "Flatmount" mount, it is impossible to mount a brake kit with a hose routed outside of the frame.

This configuration only works with 120 mm disc rotors; the frame is not compatible with 140 mm rotors.

Depending on the sizes, the bottom bracket changes from the standard BB86 to a BB386. For Expert, Expert XL, and Pro sizes, it is a BB86 (Ø 41 mm). For larger sizes, it is referred to as Pressfit BB386 (Ø 46 mm). This allows for the installation of a 30 mm bottom bracket axle without compromising the bearing thickness. It is important to choose the correct reference based on the desired bottom bracket axle. Please note that this bottom bracket is specific to the frame.

To maintain a consistent rear chainstay length regardless of the gear ratio used, this frame comes with a 15 mm thru-axle. This significantly increases the rigidity of the rear triangle. This configuration requires a rear hub with a 15 mm axle. The axle itself is made of CNC-machined 7005 aluminum.

To ensure consistent chain tension, Meybo has designed an integrated chain tensioner on the rear base of the frame, providing optimal transmission regardless of the gear ratio chosen. To optimize the chain tension adjustment with this tensioner, it is recommended to use a chain with half links for finer adjustment.

In summary, the HSX is a culmination of new technologies with Toray T800 carbon tubes. Designed and intended for competition, whether it be high-speed racing on a World Cup track or leading the pack on an indoor circuit, the HSX is a formidable racing weapon.
